Project Stacee

This month I am featuring Project Stacee,
a worthwhile endeavor hosted by

FantasyStock.

Project Stacy begins with this image:

and leads us to a place where FantasyStock tells us about Stacee, a young eight year old girl, Stacee, who tragically lost her life with her mother about nine years ago. The photo above is the only existing image left to Stacee's grandmother.

Project Stacee invites the creative souls of DA to try their hand at restoring the photo for Stacee's grandmother, as well as opening up the opportunity for creative endeavors and manipulations to bring Stacee's family some images to treasure. There are prizes awarded to the best submissions. You can see the work submitted so far here..

Just a note...

I've been away on vacation, (read about it here: [link], as I am too lazy to write it twice) but now I am back and will be uploading gobs of stock over the next few weeks.

I am also working on some packs, some Photoshop brush sets, and some textures. So check back soon

Hot Uploads and Fantastic Features!

So Seriously Addicted...

I have been spending wayyy too much time these days on DA uploading and saving and collecting and chatting and... well.... Okay. I admit it. Being full-blown addicted.

How can I not? So much talent, fun, and great things to see and do here. Who could resist?

To top everything off, I finally figured out how to do the CSS thing with my journal, so I want to take a moment to thank

for this lovely design

This account, as I've mentioned, is my new stock account. Stock photography is a great love of mine. It's how I really got addicted to photography (wow... so many addictions... maybe there's a 12 Step group for this somewhere...). So it excites me to share so much of it here.

I've started uploading some stock here that I've never made available on any other site, not even on Pay Sites. Hopefully some of you will find it useful. I have big plans to do some more stock fairly soon, especially for DA, so keep your eyes peeled.

For the moment, here are a few of my own favorite pieces:

I have my eyes peeled for any good manipulations/deviations that anyone does with these particular images, and will feature my favorites that I see. So if you use one of these make sure you note me so I can see them

Month Long feature!

WoooHoo! I got a Daily Deviation!

How exciting! I got up this morning to got to some nondescript town in the vast wastelands of New Mexico, got to borrow a camera for the day, so i was taking photos all day and feeling like the Queen of Sheba - thinking this day couldn't get better, and I come home, check my DA page... find an unGodly number of messages waiting for me, and see that lovely lyastri,

has featured me as her Daily Deviation!

:dances around happily: WooHoo! To make it more surprising, the pic she chose, :thumb83779523: was one I wasn't at all expecting to make a DD, so it was doubly exciting! I have had soooo many comments and faves, how am I ever going to reply to everyone??
