My Stock Usage Rules

Wed Apr 23, 2008, 7:21 PM
:new: This is my second DA profile, I decided that it's time to have a separate stock account, so a little at a time I will be moving my stock over here. If you saved my stock at the other profile, forgive me for making things difficult.

It took a long time for me to decide to share my stock on DA, and I am so glad I did! What a great and creative group of people are here! :#1:

I will add a great many images here, most of them have few restrictions, and those I think are very fair. A few of them have some extra restrictions, these in general are those of models who are children, or who have specifically requested certain restrictions. Please respect those few rules, and the models they represent.

The following are the rules for using my stock in general. You will find the extended stock rules at the bottom of the page, with red bullets.

:police: RULES FOR USING MY STOCK :police:

:bulletblue: Please download for full size image.

:bulletblue: Please credit me in the artists description on the page of your deviation when you use my stock, and link final image back to my gallery on your deviation page. Let me know you've used the stock image by leaving a comment on my stock image page. Don't write it on my main page, I may not see it there.

:bulletblue: When you use one of my stock images, please put it in the correct category. If it is still a photograph do not put it in the photography category, but rather the Photo-manipulation category.

:bulletblue: Don't just change the color, or use a simple filter in Photoshop to change the image. Be creative! :)

:bulletblue: I cannot afford to buy all the prints from the deviations created from these images, so if I ask I would like a full size copy of any deviation. (For my own collection only).

:bulletblue: If you want to sell finished image you must have written permission FIRST.

:bulletred: Do NOT use images which have any children in them or which are noted with this rule in the comment section in any racist, sexual, fetish, or anti-religious work. (You are free to have your beliefs, but with these particular images don't make fun of someone else's.)

:bulletred: If you have question regarding the rules, please contact me. If you violate my rules you will be reported, and banned from using my stock.

I know this sounds all stuffy and stern, but I think these are fair. I love to see people use my images, and am extremely open to questions or stepping outside my own boundries if people ask. I hope you find something you'd like to use, and I hope you have a great deal of fun with it! :boogie:

Nope... you can use it at the size it is, if you need it larger, than you'd have to download it, if it comes in a larger size than what shows :)

Thanks for asking!
:iconcrazycat-7:
Oh hehehehe :phew: Good to know lol, I've never done photo manipulation using someone else's photo before...so I'm kinda nervous lol (dont ask >.< )

Everyone starts somewhere :) Just make sure the images you use are pen for stock usage, and follow the contributors rules.

I'd love to see what you come up with :)
:iconkody-boye:
Yes! I've always found that full-size stock images are easier to work with than right-click/save images. Full-sized one's have more pixels, and are thus easier to work with. : )

I also have to say that you've got some AWESOME stock, DawnAllynn. :)

I wished to ask if you were adverse to this image being used as a banner for a fiction piece I wrote. The only thing that would be added to it would be text and the author of the fic. (Full credit for the stock art would go to you as per your rules of course)
